Full Job Description
Central Office Monitoring Station is seeking a qualified, experienced, candidate for the following shift:
Saturdays 9 AM-11 PM, Sundays 9 AM-11 PM, Mondays 11 PM-7 AM, and Tuesdays 11 PM-7 AM. 44 hours, 4 of which are paid overtime hours. The dispatchers are responsible for many tasks including reacting to incoming signals, answering inbound phone calls, assisting technicians by phone, and aiding subscribers when they have questions.
To be considered for this position you should possess the following abilities:
- Prioritize calls and react with a calm demeanor
- Type quickly and with accuracy
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Work well with others
- Arrive to work consistently on-time
We will help the right candidate acquire licensing through the state of Texas. This position will require 2 weeks of paid training that will take place Monday through Friday from 8 AM-3 PM before being placed on the above-mentioned schedule. Previous experience may shorten the length of necessary training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
