Job Description
Role Summary:
The CNC Programmer / Machinist will be responsible for the coding and operation of the CNC Machinery at the Kubco facility. They will upload programming based on product design and specifications, or manually code programming for each job.
Role Priorities / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coding of all CNC machinery for use in manufacturing processes
- Must be able to both upload programming and manually code at CNC machines
- Must be able to read and apply specifications of job schematics
- Must have a solid understanding of “Job Shop” manufacturing processes and machinery
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform basic troubleshooting of programming issues with CNC machinery
- Must have an understanding of centrifuge parts and function
- Able to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Able to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritizing as required
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Trained in CNC Programming language
- Ability to operate forklift, crane, and other various pieces of material handling equipment
- Able to read and understand print schematics
- Detail-oriented and organized mindset
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a “Job Shop” manufacturing setting
