The Role:

The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing to manage all SPB Hospitality restaurant concept digital operations from start to finish, including planning and executing all digital marketing. This includes Email Marketing, SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, and display advertising campaigns.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with the digital team on best practices and strategies to drive revenue and customer engagement through promotional, triggered, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.

The primary functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Map conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strategically build an email marketing calendar aligning key brand initiatives, event calendar, and business trends
  • Manage email production process end to end: email creation, campaign scheduling, segmentation, creative development, email asset production, email vendor management; and post-deployment analysis
  • Manage and plan all email lifecycle campaigns, from ideating ways to build a subscriber base, to building sales conversion campaigns, to our critical pre and post-event communications, all while building our lifestyle brands and increasing brand loyalty
  • Develop re-engagement campaigns to increase the number of active participants receiving our communications and in turn, increase our restaurant traffic
  • Improve email KPIs (deliverability, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue) by developing and executing robust A/B testing plans
  • Manage and own channel reporting and extract key takeaways from performance in a regular cadence and provide recommendations on ways to improve upon results
  • Collaborate with all other marketing stakeholders to ensure our calendars align with the brand needs
  • Explore new ways of developing and executing lifecycle marketing programs to expand customer lifetime value across email, SMS, direct mail, and more.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns in a marketing manager role
  • Deep understanding of email creative, segmentation, testing methodologies, dynamic content, deliverability, CAN-SPAM regulations, and ESP’s
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in creating data-driven decisions through A/B testing, campaign reports, dashboards and analytics
  • Ability to drive mobile design and innovation
  • Attention to detail within the QA process including troubleshooting rendering issues
  • Work closely with the Creative Team on implementing brand standards in email communication and building out campaign briefs
  • Concept ways to improve revenue via email campaigns
  • 4+ years of HTML/CSS experience
  • 4+ years of Graphic design skills
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines and to quickly execute against priorities
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side
  • Ability to work on multiple brands, representing the brand voice and look and feel within communications
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
