This role in summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Studio Producer who will be an integral part of an exciting and first-of-its-kind new division: WoW Studios is tasked with innovating the consumer experience and building the future of marketing at Whirlpool, WoW Studios is the next generation of in-house advertising, storytelling, and experience.

With deep support from executive leadership, armed with the latest digital marketing tools, and award-winning creative and experienced talent, our goal is nothing short of super-charging Whirlpool Corporation through investing in creativity and improving consumers’ lives inside millions of homes.

Leading the work for iconic brands like Jennair, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, and more, this highly visible, business-critical division will be heavily invested in increasing the total output of campaigns, content, analytics, design, experiences, digital tools, and service innovations.

At the edge of the Chicago Riverwalk, WoW Studios North American headquarters is located in the historic Reid Murdoch Building. From the dream builders and problem slayers to the operational masters and data maestros to the magic makers…we want you!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the crew, equipment, and facilities for the development of all film/video content within the Studio. You’ll implement strategies to stay on schedule and budget while encouraging the crew to run smooth successful shoots.

You’ll also be responsible to develop, direct and produce film video shoots that position Whirlpool products, and the company as a whole, for all relevant audiences including consumers, employees, partners, investors, and the press. 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Develop effective relationships with all departments and crews to ensure daily communication, troubleshoot issues, and potential delays
  • Attend all production-related meetings to ensure that the schedule is moving forward and/or specific issues are addressed and/or escalated
  • Run production meetings to ensure clear communication, dissemination of information, acknowledge accomplishments, and discuss challenges
  • Oversee Studio team of cinematographers, key and support crew for developing video/film, and build strong relationships with post-production resources (producers, editors, CGI artists, etc)
  • Oversight and accountability for quality control of all photography/video created within the team

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of Production, Advertising, Film Studio, Content, and/or Media Agency experience
  • 4+ years of experience in line production including content and/or advertising
