As part of our collaborative Global HR team, this position provides Corporate Compensation services to support the strategic goals of the HR Department.  Provides direct analytical support to the Compensation function regarding the development and execution of various compensation programs and projects to ensure competitive, compliant, and motivating compensation for the Company.
 
This role is a key contributor to global compensation support and achievement of organizational goals, specifically in the areas of the annual compensation planning process (merit, bonus, LTI), creating ad hoc reports, and compensation modeling and analysis.

Major Duties: 

Focus on demonstrating teamwork within and outside of the HR Department in handling assigned responsibilities and activities.
  • Evaluate proposed and existing jobs by reviewing job descriptions against internal criteria and external benchmark data to ensure grade and salary recommendations are commensurate with market and internal equity
  • Strong involvement in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of global annual compensation programs and associated payroll processing as it pertains to data integrity, compensation planning tool functionality, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Participate in annual salary surveys, interpret compensation data, and provide analysis and recommendations for any job match and/or level changes
  • Maintained and audited business processes, incentive targets, incentive payout rules, and job profiles.
  • Model, evaluate, and analyze salary data providing detailed analysis for review.
  • Manages assigned departmental projects from inception to completion: timelines, resource availability, deliverables, status updates, etc.
  • Partner with HR Service Center to ensure accuracy in HR data including compensation, levels, titles, bonus program, and salary structures.

Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expert MS Excel (i.e. working with complex formulas) and PowerPoint skills, proficient in MS Word
  • Exposure to compensation in the areas of merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, job evaluation, and salary survey use & methodology
  • Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytic skills to create meaningful and understandable analyses and modeling
  • Research, critical thinking, and evaluation skills – ability to identify insights from quantitative data, reason through data findings, and use skills to develop recommendations with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, and the initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be confidential and professional on sensitive and privileged information
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of global survey warehousing tool, Salary.com highly desirable; HRIS systems- UltiPro preferred
  • Working knowledge of salary survey vendors and submission processes and templates

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, CCP desirable.
