Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Management Consultant in Houston, Texas to support growing project work for various oil and gas clients throughout the United States. In this role, the candidate must have demonstrated success managing natural gas projects that are regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This role will support several existing Arcadis clients as well as support the development of new client relationships.

Role accountabilities:

  • Provide a senior-level review of project deliverables, including FERC environmental reports
  • Provide guidance to project teams and clients on FERC requirements and FERC compliance
  • Mentor and train staff on FERC regulations
  • Coordinate with FERC staff on behalf of clients, as needed
  • Senior-level review of NEPA documents for projects
  • Assist with client development efforts and proposal opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Biology, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience with managing FERC-regulated projects
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, and excellent client management skills
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with regulatory agencies
