Key Job Responsibilities
Instructional Responsibilities:
- Follows teacher lesson plans to provide instruction to assigned students.
- Manage classroom behavior in a respectful manner that is consistent with ACE Amandla’s Student Code of Conduct.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and seating charts.
- Communicate daily outcomes to teachers.
- Deliver instruction in a manner that is highly engaging, rigorous, differentiated, and student-centered.
- Recognizes the differences in needs, abilities, and interests among students and adjusts instruction to meet those needs, abilities, and interests.
- Stimulates students to work at their maximum potential and take pride in their accomplishments.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and uphold ACE Amandla policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate fairness and respect to all students and staff.
- May coordinate and attend class field trips; may work in extracurricular and after-school activities.
- Fulfills the requirements of attendance, punctuality, reliability, and responsibility with regard to school building and school district policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Required).
- PEL/ELS/Substitute Teaching License (Required).
- 5 or more years working in a high school setting (Preferred).
Salary
- $25 per assigned class period not exceeding 7 classes.
